A Day Trip to the Grand Tetons
While using The Falls Campground as our mountain base camp, we decided the clear skies were calling us to take a drive out to the Grand Tetons. There is nothing quite like waking up next to the rushing water, packing a thermos of fresh coffee, and heading out into the crisp morning air with the truck pointed toward those iconic, jagged horizons.
The drive itself was a masterclass in nature’s grandeur. As we wound our way through the high-elevation passes, the pine forests opened up to reveal sweeping vistas that demand you pull over at every single overlook. The air was wonderfully cool, keeping things sharp and vibrant as the midday sun hit the snow-dusted peaks.
